The Charjett CJ-74 V2L Discharge Adapter is a vehicle-to-grid power cable with a Type 2 socket, a 3-metre cable and a rubber power strip with covered outlets. V2L (Vehicle-to-Load) technology lets electric vehicles supply energy from their batteries to external devices; the DC energy in the vehicle battery is converted into usable power through a suitable inverter. It can cover emergency power needs at homes and businesses during emergencies or natural disasters, and serve as an energy source for camping and outdoor activities — so the vehicle is useful not only for travel but also in everyday life. V2L enables more efficient use of the vehicle battery and contributes to sustainability. This V2L connection provides 16 amps and 3.6 kW maximum output to power a refrigerator, coffee machine and other devices that need an AC power connection.
